Primary Education at Divya Deeksha Peetha

Divya Deeksha Sansthaan is running a primary school in the name of Divya Deeksha Peetha at Village Talayal, Nalhatti Kalihatti Road, PO Kalihatti, District Shimla (HP) since February 2015.

The school has been serving rural and backward areas for more than 9 years with a strength of 32 students (as of 31-Dec-2019), aiming to uplift convent-style education without any profit motive.

Environment Day & Plantation Drives

Environment Day is celebrated regularly to spread awareness among children and nearby residents about maintaining a healthy environment. Plastic usage is discouraged and plantation activities are promoted.

Plantation drives are organized multiple times a year with joint participation of students and local people, encouraging cleanliness and long-term care of the surroundings.

Natural Water Resource Cleaning

After heavy rains, natural water resources often get blocked with bushes and debris. Divya Deeksha Sansthaan undertakes cleaning drives to ensure proper access and hygiene for people dependent on these natural water sources (Bauri).

Yoga Day & Daily Practice

Yoga is taught regularly in the school and practiced daily by students. Children are encouraged to implement yoga in their routine and also share these practices with their siblings, creating a healthy home environment.

Free Education & Computer Knowledge

Around 15% of students every year are provided free education, especially those from poor families who are eager to learn.

Free computer education is also provided to students, parents, and nearby residents. The school infrastructure is opened for practice and learning to uplift digital literacy in the area.

Annual Prizes, Picnics & First Aid Awareness

Annual prize distribution ceremonies are organized to encourage students based on academic and extracurricular activities.

Educational picnics are arranged once a year, helping children explore historical and spiritual places.

First Aid awareness camps are also conducted for students and parents, highlighting its importance in day-to-day life.
